Profile-specific fitting requirements
Performance valve springs are required. Performance spring retainers are required. For flat-tappet installation, Crow recommends two bottles of ZDDP additive: one for run-in and one for the first oil change. Follow Crow’s current run-in procedure and the product dosing instructions.

Confirm the actual engine capacity, cylinder-head design and induction system before ordering. The installer must check cam timing, piston-to-valve clearance, spring installed height, coil bind, retainer-to-seal clearance, pushrod length and rocker geometry. Hydraulic preload or mechanical lash must match the selected profile. BBT can help assemble the engine-specific package and arrange installation and calibration.
