LSA overhaul application with the matching LSA/LS9 head gaskets and late/short head-bolt arrangement. Confirm engine and cylinder-head configuration; not a universal LS1/LS2/LS3 or LS7 kit.

Installation and configuration
- Confirm engine and cylinder-head compatibility, supplied quantity and the correct hydraulic or mechanical valvetrain type.
- Check lifter preload or mechanical lash, geometry, oil supply and all spring/rocker clearances. Do not apply pushrod-engine instructions to a DOHC hydraulic lash adjuster.
