Haltech iC-7 Digital Dash is a 7-inch full-colour display and data-logging solution designed to integrate directly with current Haltech ECUs over CAN while also supporting a range of recognised third-party ECU protocols.

• iC-7 Digital Dash Kit — HT-067010: intended for CAN integration with current Haltech ECUs and supported third-party ECU protocols. Includes the dash, 34-pin main connector harness, 3m DTM-4 CAN extension cable, USB/M5 interface hardware and mounting hardware.
• iC-7 Stand-Alone “Classic” Kit — HT-067014: adds the semi-terminated stand-alone harness and sensor package for carbureted, mechanically injected or other vehicles without an engine ECU. The kit includes coolant-temperature sensing and two 0–150 PSI pressure sensors.

Installation

CAN installations require the correct CAN cable/protocol configuration. Stand-alone installations require appropriate sensor wiring, calibration and vehicle-signal configuration. Optional mounts, camera and additional CAN devices can be integrated where required.

Generic CAN (GCAN) — Current Beta Feature

Haltech identifies this Nexus ECU / display platform as eligible for Generic CAN (GCAN), its user-programmable CAN messaging feature. GCAN is provided at no additional licence cost on eligible Nexus hardware and can also be enabled on existing eligible units through the applicable firmware update.

• Create custom CAN messages for supported third-party devices and systems.
• Useful for OEM dash retention, CAN sensors, steering-wheel / switch controls, ABS data, loggers and other custom CAN integrations.
• Haltech currently specifies support for up to 30 CAN frames and 200 signals.

Important: GCAN is currently released by Haltech as a beta feature. Access requires opting into the applicable beta software / firmware through NSP. Check Haltech's current GCAN release instructions before updating, back up the existing configuration first and verify all connected-device operation after the update.
