Haltech Nexus S2 ECU brings Nexus processing, communications and motorsport functions to compact four-cylinder and two-rotor applications.

S2 capability

Designed for engines up to four cylinders or two rotors.
Single onboard NTK / Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband controller and internal 4-bar MAP sensor.
11 analogue voltage inputs, six synchronised pulsed inputs, dual knock inputs and four 8A half-bridge outputs.
Two CAN networks, USB-C, onboard Wi-Fi and 128MB internal logging.
Dual drive-by-wire support, flex fuel, long-term learning, 4D closed-loop boost, launch, traction, anti-lag and multi-level engine protection.

Selectable packages

ECU Only — HT-212000: Nexus S2 ECU for installations where the required connector/wiring solution is already planned.
ECU + Plug and Pin Set — HT-212100: Nexus S2 ECU supplied with the matching plug-and-pin set for custom harness construction.
ECU + 2.5m Universal Wire-in Harness — HT-212200: Nexus S2 ECU with the universal wire-in harness package.

Built by Boost & Tune support

Built by Boost & Tune is an authorised Haltech dealer. Professional ECU installation, custom wiring, CAN integration, sensor setup and dyno calibration are available.

Throttle / DBW suitability

DBW supported: Cable throttle and drive-by-wire (DBW) are supported. Nexus S2/S3 provide dual DBW throttle control.

Application Checks

Confirm ECU or vehicle compatibility, connector/harness requirements, sensor range, power and ground requirements, DBW or other control needs and the calibration strategy before ordering. Wiring and sensor setup should be completed against the relevant pinout and configured in the ECU before final testing.

Generic CAN (GCAN) — Current Beta Feature

Haltech identifies this Nexus ECU / display platform as eligible for Generic CAN (GCAN), its user-programmable CAN messaging feature. GCAN is provided at no additional licence cost on eligible Nexus hardware and can also be enabled on existing eligible units through the applicable firmware update.

Create custom CAN messages for supported third-party devices and systems.
Useful for OEM dash retention, CAN sensors, steering-wheel / switch controls, ABS data, loggers and other custom CAN integrations.
Haltech currently specifies support for up to 30 CAN frames and 200 signals.

Important: GCAN is currently released by Haltech as a beta feature. Access requires opting into the applicable beta software / firmware through NSP. Check Haltech's current GCAN release instructions before updating, back up the existing configuration first and verify all connected-device operation after the update.
