Haltech Universal V8 Terminated Engine Harness - Nexus R5 VCU (HT-186200) is a terminated engine harness designed to connect directly to the Haltech Nexus R5 VCU and support many popular GM, Ford and Chrysler small-block and big-block V8 engines.

Main harness only — Nexus R5 VCU and the required injector, ignition and alternator sub-harnesses are sold separately.

Harness features

Direct Nexus R5 VCU connectors.
Terminated engine-bay and in-cabin connections.
CAN-device connections for items such as displays and keypads.
Connections for crank, cam, MAP, temperature, pressure, position, speed and flex-fuel sensors.
Dual wideband-lambda allocation.
Breakouts for eight ignition coils, eight primary injectors, eight secondary injectors and two tertiary injectors.
Alternator-control breakout, starter-solenoid control, dual boost-control allocation, thermofan/fuel-pump control and transmission-control breakout.
Spare inputs, outputs, high-current PDM outputs and half-bridge output allocation.

Important configuration requirement

Select the correct injector breakout for EV1 or USCAR/GT150 injectors.
Select the correct ignition breakout for the engine/coil arrangement.
Select the appropriate alternator breakout for the application.
These sub-harnesses are not included with HT-186200 unless separately specified.

Confirm ECU or vehicle compatibility, connector/harness requirements, sensor range, power and ground requirements, DBW or other control needs and the calibration strategy before ordering. Wiring and sensor setup should be completed against the relevant pinout and configured in the ECU before final testing.
