Haltech Nexus Plug-in ECU – Nissan Skyline R32/R33/R34 GT-R (HT-231801) is a direct factory-ECU replacement for supported manual-transmission Nissan Skyline applications, combining vehicle-specific plug-in integration with current Nexus processing, onboard wideband control, Wi-Fi and motorsport functions.

Supported OEM functions
Haltech lists support for key Skyline functions including ATTESA TPS output on GT-R models, variable-speed fuel-pump operation, R34 GT-R injector-duty display output, boost control, A/C, idle control, thermofan, N-VCT switching, check-engine-light output, fuel-pump-control-module operation, vehicle speed and other application-dependent factory functions.

Nexus 76-pin six-cylinder plug-in ECU, 2.5m air-temperature/wideband expansion harness with spare pins, 1/8 NPT air-temperature sensor, vehicle mounting brackets/hardware, 2.5m vacuum hose, aluminium vacuum T-piece, Haltech USB-C cable and quick-start guide.
Throttle / DBW suitability
Factory cable throttle + DBW conversion supported: The supported Skyline applications use factory cable throttle. The Nexus plug-in also supports a DBW conversion through its auxiliary I/O with the required electronic throttle, APP sensor and additional wiring.

Generic CAN (GCAN) — Current Beta Feature
Haltech identifies this Nexus ECU / display platform as eligible for Generic CAN (GCAN), its user-programmable CAN messaging feature. GCAN is provided at no additional licence cost on eligible Nexus hardware and can also be enabled on existing eligible units through the applicable firmware update.
- Create custom CAN messages for supported third-party devices and systems.
- Useful for OEM dash retention, CAN sensors, steering-wheel / switch controls, ABS data, loggers and other custom CAN integrations.
- Haltech currently specifies support for up to 30 CAN frames and 200 signals.
Important: GCAN is currently released by Haltech as a beta feature. Access requires opting into the applicable beta software / firmware through NSP. Check Haltech's current GCAN release instructions before updating, back up the existing configuration first and verify all connected-device operation after the update.
