BMW S58 Stage 2 camshafts — 358-B

292°/280° duration and 10.40 mm/10.60 mm valve lift. Kelford specifies these cams for professionally built S58 engines targeting approximately 800–1400 hp with 66–75 mm turbo sizing and an aftermarket intake plenum. Valvetronic and Dual VANOS can remain functional; Kelford also describes locking Valvetronic when using an aftermarket throttle body.

Supporting parts and checks

Use the KVS58-BT valve spring upgrade. Check valve-to-piston clearance over the full VANOS and Valvetronic travel, plus intake intermediate rocker clearance. Kelford advises trimming or deburring OEM pressed-steel rockers where necessary.
