Complete "turbo-back" Manta exhaust system - available in 3" fully mandrel bent aluminised or stainless steel tubing, with the option of leaving out the diesel catalytic converter (intended for off-road use). Please note - the twin tip exit will require trimming of the factory bumper

Ford's first diesel Territory, the SZ model, has under its hood the 2.7L V6 turbo diesel engine from the Land Rover Discovery. Producing 140kw and 440nm, this motor propels the Territory towards 100km/h in a not-so-fast 10.7 seconds.

A major complaint from Territory drivers is that they have a lot of lag. This is where the Manta exhaust system comes in. The turbo back 3" Manta system replaces the entire factory exhaust system with a free-flowing mandrel bent setup that maximises the flow of the exhaust gases. This allows the turbo to spool faster, and operate cooler, leading to decreased lag, improved 0-100 times, more peak power, and increased torque down low.

Towing, overtaking, and take-offs from standstill are all made easier by the fitment of the Manta 3" exhaust.

Fuel economy is generally improved, as the engine is able to operate at a higher level of efficiency. The exhaust also releases the fantastic deep exhaust note of the V6 - something that is completely hidden by the factory exhaust system. Of course, the two high-flow mufflers in the system ensure there is no drone inside the cabin at any point throughout the rev range.

To take advantage of the upgraded exhaust system, we're also pleased to offer the Sting ECU Remap for the Territory. This allows for a whole host of parameters to be adjusted, delivering up to 35% improvement in horsepower and torque, and 20% improvment in economy - far better results than any plug in chip (including our own!). This tuning process is done completely in house, allowing the ECU remap to be custom written to suit your requirements.
