PPM Ford Barra 4.0L Rotating Kit is supplied by PPM Racing / Pure Performance Motorsport.

PPM 4.0L Barra rotating assembly using an OEM-stroke billet crank, forged pistons and Ultimate I-beam rods.

PPM supplier information

• 12-counterweight custom billet 4340 crankshaft with OEM 3.91-inch stroke.
• 2618 or 4032 forged pistons with dual coatings, 92.5 mm bore, H13 6 mm-wall pins and rings; supplier lists -8.8 cc or flat-top 9.5:1 options.
• 4340 Ultimate I-beam rods with 7/16-inch ARP L19 bolts and PPM F1 surface finishing.
• ACL Race Calico-coated connecting-rod and main bearings.
• ARP custom harmonic-damper bolt and ARP Pro Series flywheel bolts.
• PPM advertises the kit as 9,000+ RPM capable.

Ordering and build notes

Supplier states approximately 8–12 weeks if not in stock. Engine clearances, final compression ratio and balancing must be confirmed by the engine builder.
