PPM 4.0L Barra rotating assembly with a superfinished 12-counterweight crankshaft and matched forged rotating components.

• Superfinished custom billet 4340 crankshaft, 12-counterweight design, OEM 3.91-inch stroke.
• 2618 or 4032 dual-coated forged pistons, 92.5 mm bore, H13 6 mm-wall pins and rings; -8.8 cc or flat-top 9.5:1 configurations listed by PPM.
• 4340 Ultimate I-beam rods with 7/16-inch ARP L19 hardware and PPM F1 surface finishing.
• ACL Race Calico-coated rod and main bearings, plus ARP damper and flywheel hardware.
• PPM states its surface-finishing process targets reduced surface fatigue, improved lubrication retention/heat transfer, smoother critical surfaces and longer component life under high load.
