The Yella Terra YT 1521 is a solid high-performance replacement for the factory spring-style isolator inside the LSA supercharger snout. The isolator forms the mechanical link between the upper drive pulley and the blower rotors.
Why Yella Terra replaces the factory isolator
- The original spring-style coupler is known to develop rattle at idle and partial throttle.
- Wear can groove the supercharger shaft and create debris that may contribute to shaft-seal failure.
- Increasing the blower drive ratio places additional load through the factory isolator.
