Yella Terra / Whipple Single-Port Supercharger Bypass Actuator — SCH 1576C
The SCH 1576C is the single-port OEM-style bypass actuator used on a number of Yella Terra and Whipple supercharger systems. The actuator controls opening and closing of the supercharger bypass valve as manifold load and vacuum conditions change.
Application and service use
- Single-port bypass actuator.
- Used as standard equipment on multiple Whipple Australia / Yella Terra supercharger kits, including Holden 304 4082TK-series and Ford Boss YT 5400TK-series applications.
- Suitable as a like-for-like service replacement where SCH 1576C is the existing actuator type.
- Actuator configuration directly affects bypass operation and supercharger behaviour.
Important: Whipple Australia specifically warns to replace a damaged actuator with the same actuator type. Installing the wrong bypass actuator can cause engine running problems and supercharger operating issues. Confirm the existing actuator before ordering.
