Current Bosch motorsport external pump used as the successor to the discontinued 0 580 254 044.
Specifications
- Flow: more than 275 L/h at 5 bar
- Approx. 10% higher flow than the 044 at 7 bar
- M18 × 1.5 inlet and M12 × 1.5 outlet arrangement with supplied adaptor/check-valve hardware
- External non-return valve
- Pressure relief: approximately 8–10 bar
- Compatible with petrol and diesel
044 replacement notes
The housing is slimmer than the old 044 and the supplied sleeve allows reuse of many 60 mm pump brackets. Existing aftermarket fittings should be checked because direct-thread requirements differ.
Fuel-system design
Fuel-pump flow changes substantially with system pressure and voltage. Size the pump using the actual base pressure, boost-referenced pressure where applicable, fuel type and expected engine demand rather than free-flow numbers alone.
Installation requirements
Verify wiring/current capacity, hose and seal fuel compatibility, filtration, pickup arrangement, regulator capacity and tank/external mounting requirements before installation.
