Application and fitment

Three-bolt LS camshaft gear. The camshaft nose, fasteners, timing set and trigger arrangement must match. Not a direct replacement for a single-bolt camshaft drive.

Installation and configuration

Confirm the camshaft part number, engine generation, camshaft drive, trigger arrangement and cylinder-head compatibility before installation.
Degree the camshaft where required and measure piston-to-valve, valve-to-valve, spring coil-bind and retainer-to-seal clearances on the actual engine.
Check lifter type, hydraulic preload or mechanical lash, rocker geometry, pushrod length where applicable and the required spring/retainer package.
An active-AFM/DOD engine requires the correct mechanical conversion before a non-AFM camshaft is fitted; update the ECU calibration as required.
