Installation and configuration
- Confirm the camshaft part number, engine generation, camshaft drive, trigger arrangement and cylinder-head compatibility before installation.
- Degree the camshaft where required and measure piston-to-valve, valve-to-valve, spring coil-bind and retainer-to-seal clearances on the actual engine.
- Check lifter type, hydraulic preload or mechanical lash, rocker geometry, pushrod length where applicable and the required spring/retainer package.
- An active-AFM/DOD engine requires the correct mechanical conversion before a non-AFM camshaft is fitted; update the ECU calibration as required.
- Agree the final cam card, base circle, core condition, intended RPM and matching valvetrain specification before the custom order is accepted.

- Recommended: Crow Cams Genuine GM LS7 Lifter and Guide Kit — Hydraulic lifters and guides for a compatible non-AFM valve train or correctly completed AFM-delete conversion. Do not add when already supplied in an overhaul kit.

This SKU represents a custom/order-specific camshaft service rather than one universal fixed cam card. The required profile must be confirmed against the engine specification before production.
