Diamond forged piston kits for Mitsubishi 4G63
Four-piston kits for a 88 mm crankshaft stroke, 5.905-inch connecting rods and 1.375 in compression height. Choose the finished bore, crown volume and nominal compression ratio, then select the standard or H13 gudgeon-pin kit.

Made to order and delivery
Special-order, made-to-order pistons. Allow approximately 5–6 weeks for delivery, pending Australian customs processing time. Manufacturing schedules, international freight and clearance can extend this estimate.
Construction and supplied components
- Forged 2618 aluminium with machined crown and valve pockets.
- Side gas ports, oil-ring-fed pin lubrication and moly-coated skirts.
- Four pistons, the listed ring set, fitted gudgeon pins and retainers included.
- Ring thickness: 1.00 mm x 1.20 mm x 2.80 mm.
- Pin dimensions: 0.866 in diameter × 2.250 in length.
- Valve-pocket depths: 0.200 in intake and 0.190 in exhaust. Check clearance with the actual cylinder head and camshafts.

Fitment and engine preparation
These kits use the listed 88 mm crankshaft stroke. Confirm the 5.905-inch rod length, pin diameter, block deck height and compression height before ordering. Do not interchange these with the separate long-rod or other stroker piston groups.
For a 4G63 engine build matching these dimensions. Have your engine builder confirm the block generation, 6-bolt or 7-bolt configuration, cylinder-head and valve geometry, measured bore and intended fuel/boost combination. Oversize bores require block assessment and machining.
Published compression ratios are nominal: chamber volume, deck clearance and head-gasket dimensions determine the assembled result. Check piston-to-wall clearance, ring gaps, pin fit, piston-to-valve clearance and rotating-assembly balance using the supplied Diamond instructions.
