Haltech Nexus S3 ECU is the higher-I/O S-Series controller for larger engines and demanding competition applications.

S3 capability

Designed for engines up to eight cylinders or four rotors.
Eight peak-and-hold injector channels and eight ignition outputs.
Single onboard NTK / Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband controller and internal 4-bar MAP sensor.
11 analogue voltage inputs, six synchronised pulsed inputs, dual knock inputs and four 8A half-bridge outputs.
Two CAN networks, USB-C, onboard Wi-Fi and 128MB internal logging.
Dual drive-by-wire support, flex fuel, long-term learning, 4D closed-loop boost, launch, traction, anti-lag and multi-level engine protection.

ECU Only — HT-213000: Nexus S3 ECU for installations where the required connector/wiring solution is already planned.
ECU + Plug and Pin Set — HT-213100: Nexus S3 ECU supplied with the matching plug-and-pin set for custom harness construction.

Generic CAN (GCAN) — Current Beta Feature

Haltech identifies this Nexus ECU / display platform as eligible for Generic CAN (GCAN), its user-programmable CAN messaging feature. GCAN is provided at no additional licence cost on eligible Nexus hardware and can also be enabled on existing eligible units through the applicable firmware update.

Create custom CAN messages for supported third-party devices and systems.
Useful for OEM dash retention, CAN sensors, steering-wheel / switch controls, ABS data, loggers and other custom CAN integrations.
Haltech currently specifies support for up to 30 CAN frames and 200 signals.

Important: GCAN is currently released by Haltech as a beta feature. Access requires opting into the applicable beta software / firmware through NSP. Check Haltech's current GCAN release instructions before updating, back up the existing configuration first and verify all connected-device operation after the update.
