Application guidance

Harrop describes the H03 as having an aggressive idle and recommends it as the largest grind in its range for LS1 applications. Higher differential ratios suit the intended naturally aspirated performance use, and automatic-transmission vehicles require a suitable higher-stall torque converter to maintain drivability.
