Fitment

Holden Commodore VL–VT live-axle applications and Nissan Skyline R31 using the Borg Warner M78 28-spline differential.

Correct housing, spline count, bearings and axle configuration must be confirmed before installation. Differential bearing preload and backlash must be set correctly.

Harrop note: M78/Borg Warner live-axle installations may require pinion machining; leaf-spring applications can transmit some operating noise.
