Haltech Nexus R5 Universal Wire-in Harness - 2.5m (8') (HT-185200) is the universal harness for custom Nexus R5 VCU installations in race cars, engine conversions and bespoke high-performance wiring projects.

Harness only — Nexus R5 VCU is not included.

Harness features

• Five main R5 VCU connectors.
• Four CAN connectors.
• Fully populated TXL wire.
• 2.5m (8') nominal main harness length.
• Colour-coded and clearly labelled unterminated engine/vehicle-side wires.
• High Current Outputs 2-12 and Extra High Current Outputs 1-4 are supplied with extended 5m wiring within this harness.

• Dedicated motorsport builds.
• Engine swaps and conversions.
• Vehicles using the R5's integrated ECU, PDM, data-logging and CAN capabilities as the core of a custom electrical system.

Installation notes

• The vehicle/engine side must be terminated to suit the actual sensors, injectors, ignition, DBW, CAN and power-management requirements.
• Follow Haltech's current R5 wiring diagram and quick-start documentation.
• Professional wiring, circuit protection and calibration are recommended.

Built by Boost & Tune is an authorised Haltech dealer. We can design and wire the complete R5 installation, integrate power distribution and CAN devices, commission the system and dyno-calibrate the finished vehicle.

Application Checks

Confirm ECU or vehicle compatibility, connector/harness requirements, sensor range, power and ground requirements, DBW or other control needs and the calibration strategy before ordering. Wiring and sensor setup should be completed against the relevant pinout and configured in the ECU before final testing.
