VCM Performance VE / VF LS Oil Breather Catch Can is a vehicle-specific crankcase ventilation upgrade for Holden Commodore LS applications. Its internally baffled can separates oil mist and residue from crankcase vapour before that contamination is returned to the intake system.

Sealed: recirculates cleaned crankcase vapour back into the intake system and is the preferred configuration for most road-driven vehicles.
Filtered / vented: available for the supercharged layouts listed by VCM and supplied with the breather-filter arrangement. Check local emissions and road-use requirements before using a vent-to-atmosphere configuration.
Standard or supercharged routing: select the option that matches the engine's crankcase-breather arrangement.
Finish: bare alloy or black powder coat where offered.

Why fit a catch can?

Oil vapour entering the intake can coat the throttle body, manifold and induction tract. The VCM baffled catch-can system is designed to trap that residue while allowing the crankcase ventilation system to continue operating correctly when installed and plumbed for the selected configuration.

Installation

VCM specifies professional installation. Hoses and clamps are not supplied because hose routing and breather plumbing can vary with the engine and supporting modifications. Confirm naturally aspirated versus supercharged plumbing before ordering.
