Yella Terra’s Platinum 1.65:1 shaft-mount race rocker system is the heavy-duty wide-body option for Holden EFI V8 engines using VN-style cylinder heads. It is intended for combinations requiring substantially greater valvetrain stiffness and spring capacity than the lighter street-oriented rocker families.

Platinum race construction

Set of 16 adjustable full-roller aluminium rocker arms.
1.65:1 rocker ratio.
Wide-body aircraft-grade aluminium arms for increased strength and resistance to deflection.
Supplier-rated to 900 lb maximum open spring pressure.
Oversize full-complement caged bearings and precision-ground trunnions.

Required cylinder-head machining

Yella Terra specifies removing approximately 0.300 in from the rocker pads and drilling/tapping the mounting points to 7/16-inch UNC for the Platinum system. Professional installation and geometry checking are strongly recommended.

Hardware configurations

YT 6030: 2.0-inch 7/16-inch capscrews and standard pedestal arrangement.
YT 6030A: 2.25-inch 7/16-inch capscrews with 25 mm pedestals; Yella Terra identifies this as a common upgrade for aftermarket alloy heads.
YT 6030B: 2.5-inch 7/16-inch capscrews with 30 mm pedestals.
